Teresa Almeta Dale was born on June 18, 1977 in Camden, Alabama to Shirley Marie Dale and Henry Miller Jones. Teresa moved to Michigan at an early age. She briefly moved back to Alabama with her mother, her favorite dog Pax and Eva. She moved back to Michigan in 2024.

Teresa receive a diploma as a medical assistant from National Institutes of Technology in Southfield, Michigan.

Teresa loved traveling and hanging out with family and friends. She often talked about “fun”, “family and friends” and “back in the day”. She also loved watching and listening to and laughing at her mother’s amateur performances. Her favorite phrase was “Ma be throwing down!”

Teresa departed this life on July 24, 2026. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mae Lou and Junior Dale and Jinsey and Henry Jones; her uncles: Curtis, Posey, Paul and Albert; Aunts: Lillie Bell, Lee Ann, Julia, Willie Mae.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her mother, Shirley, her father, Henry, her sister Velda; niece Veneshia; Aunts: Rose, Sharon, Irma and Mary; Uncles: Willie (Essie), Charles (Elois), Warner, David, Moless and a host of loving cousins and friends.
