Obituary

In Loving Memory of Robyn Alicia Carter

Robyn Alicia Carter was born on August 15, 1991, at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, to Terry Caleb and Robert Carter Sr. She was the third youngest of five children.

Robyn was a devoted mother to her three beloved daughters, Ari McCormick, Ja’Leah “Jellybean,” and Jazelle (“J”). Her children were the center of her world, and she loved them with all her heart.

A proud graduate of Penn High School, Robyn went on to pursue her passion for caring for others by studying nursing and earning her CNA certification through Dorsey Business School. She was a hardworking, compassionate woman whose kindness, dedication, and caring spirit touched the lives of everyone she met.

Robyn had a vibrant personality and a joyful heart. She loved to dance, laugh, and enjoy life. Her beautiful smile, warm presence, and generous spirit will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love and memories she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Terry Caleb and Robert Carter Sr.; Bonus Dad Keith Johnson Sr.; her grandmother, Georgia Morrow; her three daughters, Ari McCormick, Ja’Leah “Jellybean,” and Jazelle (“J”); her sister, Keanna Caleb; her brothers, Willie Caleb, Keith Johnson Jr., Treyvon Johnson, and Rame Carter; her special love, Aaron McCormick; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Robyn was preceded in death by her sister, Adrian Scott; her brother, Robert Carter Jr.; her grandmother, Rosie Perry (“Honey”); and Jabarrie Shaw.

Robyn’s love, strength, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy lives on through her daughters and all whose lives she touched.

Forever Loved. Forever Missed. Forever in Our Hearts.
