Always with a wide grin, Robert was affectionately called, “Brother” by the family. He loved cooking (he had hidden talents), playing cards (Bid Whist) and watching Westerns. Robert (Brother) was at every family function and very supportive in making sure the events were successful. He loved taking road trips, especially to Arkansas to visit his family whom he loved and dearly missed.

April 28, 2000, Robert and Brigette Campbell were wedded in holy matrimony and together raised their daughter, Bacarie. They were together for 34 years. Brigette, “Robert was the best man. I couldn’t have found a better man. He had such the sense of humor. And he was old-fashioned when it came to what a man was supposed to be. He was kind to everyone and was very caring.”
