"Death is but the door to eternal life."


On October 31, 2017, Mr. Johnny (JD) Dennis was called from labor to reward at Detroit Receiving Hospital, Detroit, Michigan.  He was the son of the late Barto and Martha Jones Dennis.  Johnny was born on July 6, 1964 in Anderson, South Carolina.

Johnny attended South Fant Elementary ad graduated from Hannah High School.  He was employed by Home Style Foods, Detroit, Michigan.

He leaves to mourn his memories:  Martha Gwen Hammond of Kansas, MO; brother, Eddie Jones of Brooklyn, NY; stepbrothers, Willie Frank and Rev. S. T. Dennis of Anderson; stepsisters, Catherine Williams of Toledo, OH, Alice Henry, Pauline Burris and Marion Smith all of Anderson and Izetta Reddick of Detroit, MI; a very special aunt and a host of relatives and friends.
